Hi, I'm Susan Pomeroy.

I design, redesign and update web sites with the goal of making them financially successful. And, I coach creative professionals in how to use their web sites as a tool to grow their businesses.

I began working as a web designer in 1995 while putting myself through grad school. Then, I hated "marketing." And anything that smacked of selling was easy to ignore, because I was building giant web sites as part of a corporate team, where it was someone else’s job to worry about the bottom line.

When I first went into business on my own, I thought that simply delivering a beautiful, functional site was enough.

And my clients raved about their web sites—but didn't always make the money they had hoped.

I soon realized that even a great product or service, excellent site design, and thorough search engine registration just weren't enough to create a successful business online.

Before long, I was putting my academic background to practical use, learning how to help clients take advantage of the fluidity of the Internet—as a tool to help formulate a core message, develop new products and markets, and move step-by-step to grow their business.
